Dr Shayi is an experienced women’s health specialist with a master’s degree from the Royal College of Surgeons and Higher Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from Trinity College and a BMS certified menopause specialist.

 

She has worked in the Menopause Hub for the last 4 years and is also a speciality doctor in the Gynaecology Department at Beaumont Hospital.

She is a member of the British Menopause Society and a ISGE (International Society of Gynaecological & Reproductive Endocrinology) Certified Practitioner in Hormones for Menopause & Healthy Ageing.

 

Her commitment to women's health is evident through her comprehensive experience in Gynaecology and Menopause care and management. She helps lead the ambulatory Outpatient Hysteroscope Clinic and management of abnormal uterine bleeding. Notably, she has conducted research and authored a thesis on the medical management of early pregnancy complications at The Coombe's Hospital. She also has experience in public speaking on relevant topics such as women’s health and healthy ageing.

 

Dr. Shayi is an active member of esteemed professional bodies including the British Menopause Society (BMS), the British Fertility Society (BFS), International Menopause Society (IMS), and the International Society of Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology (ISGE)
